Abstract
- The piezoresistive effect was used to achieve synergistic photocatalysis.
- 80Â at% of Cu2O and 20Â at% of CuO exhibited superior photocatalysis.
- The synergistic effect was attributed to the band gap modulation under stresses.
- The sample also demonstrated excellent stability in a photoelectrochemical cell.
