Abstract
- Nanocrystalline ITO thin films and powders were prepared by a sol-gel method.
- The nature of the compounds used for hydrolysis plays a key role in the morphology.
- Hydrolysis of In3+/Sn4+ with EA led to a rod-like morphology.
- Monodisperse spherical ITO nanoparticles were obtained on the use of AC.
- ITO_EA was highly porous, while ITO_AC contained densely packed nanocrystals.
