Abstract
We have prepared La0.67Sr0.33MnO3 (LSMO) thin films of 100 nm thickness with enhanced temperature of metal-insulator transition TMI â¥Â 400 K on MgO (0 0 1) substrates. The X-ray diffraction measurements (θ-2θ scan, Ï-scan and Ï-scan) show a c-axis oriented in-plane heteroepitaxial growth of the LSMO on the MgO. Sensitive magnetic measurements of the LSMO susceptibility confirm the correlation of metal-insulator and ferromagnetic-paramagnetic transitions at temperature of TMI = 406 K and so the coincidence with double exchange theory.
