Abstract
- The plastic thin film with nanopillar can be formed by mass-production process (nanoprinting).
- A highly uniform and hydrophobic nanopillar film was fabricated by nanoimprinting using AAO template as a mold.
- Imprinting temperature and de-molding temperature were the most important factors in determining the contact angle of molded PLA and PC thin films for nanoimprinting.
- The contact angle of the plastic thin film increased from approximately 80Ë (without nanopillar) to 130Ë (with nanopillar).
- The hydrophilic property of plastic thin film without nanopillar changes to the hydrophobic property of plastic thin film with nanopillar.
