Abstract
- The titanate nanosheets (TNS) were synthesized by a short hydrothermal reaction time.
- CdS decorated TNS were prepared via ion-exchange and in situ sulfuration process.
- The composites show enhanced photocatalytic efficiency and stability.
- Their catalytic activity is higher than that of the CdS/titanate nanotubes.
- The quick migration of charge carriers in CdS/TNS increased the photoactivity.
