Abstract
- Immunosensing of clenbuterol was achieved using surface plasmon resonance.
- Monolayer structure and orientation of alkanethiol sensor surfaces determined sensitivity of an immunoassay.
- The best LOD were 3Â ppt.
- One immunosensing-regeneration cycle required only 1000Â s.
- The same sensor surface could be used for >100 immunoreactions.
- From the kinetic analysis, a low affinity constant K1 revealed a high sensitivity of the detection process.
