Abstract
Paramagnetic mesoporous carbon spheres were synthesized through one-pot hydrothermal carbonization of carboxymethylcellulose with nickel acetate followed by high-temperature carbonization in a N2 atmosphere. They exhibit high adsorption capacity for VB12, highest VB12 adsorption capacity of 103Â mg/g was achieved for CS4-800, they were physically adsorbed as monolayer on CSn-800, and the adsorbents can be easy separated due to their well magnetism.
