Abstract
Graphene oxidized or not in the formation of the ZnO-Graphene Hybrid (ZGH) nanostructures are studied here. Graphene are easily oxidized in the CVD-ZnO nanostructure formation process by using the ZnO and graphite power mixture as source. Just as expected, graphene oxidation can be limited by the Zn predeposition through adding the Zn powder to the ZnO and graphite power mixture. SEM, TEM, Raman, XRD and PL are used to analyze the morphology, structure, crystallization and optical properties of the formed ZGH nanostructure. The growth mechanism and the roles of the Zn predeposition in the hybrid nanostructures formation process are analyzed.
