Abstract
- Effect of NaOH and H2O2 heat treatment on the surface and electrochemical behaviour of TMF alloy was evaluated.
- AHT TMF exhibited needle like morphology and HHT TMF exhibited porous reticulate surface morphology.
- Alkali heat treatment enhances hardness and hydrophilic nature of TMF surface.
- Corrosion studies revealed that 15% HHT and 15Â M AHT TMF substrates has a nobler electrochemical corrosion behaviour than others.
- MG63 cell culture studies indicated the enhanced biocompatibility of AHT TMF surface than others.
