Abstract
- A TiO2 film was formed on a Ti plate using an aerosol beam.
- With a femtosecond laser, periodic nanostructures were produced on the film.
- The period and height of the periodic nanostructures were about 230Â nm and 150Â nm.
- Cell spreading along the grooves of the periodic nanostructures was observed.
- Percentages of good cell attachments on the film with and without periodic nanostructures were 56 and 53%, respectively.
