Abstract

- This manuscript evaluated the antibacterial behavior of the titania nanotubes with different structural features on titanium surfaces and silver-deposited titania nantubes.
- The results indicate that the titania nanotubes on the titanium surfaces had good antibacterial activity, and the silver-deposited titania nantubes had almost 100% antibacterial ratio.
- The two kinds of the nanotubes are promised to use as antibacterials in medicine and industry, their reusability is also attractive.
