Abstract
- Copper nanoparticles were synthesized under microwaves without any stabilizing agent.
- A 2-steps green and sustainable MW-synthetic approach was adopted.
- Copper nanoparticles with average diameters in the range 7-15Â nm were ascertained.
- Interesting antibacterial activity of Cu nanoparticles was verified against bacteria.
- Treated leather with copper nanoparticles showed encouraging antistatic behavior.
