Abstract
⺠Area evolution of LIPSS formation studied for double-fs-pulses (50-150 fs, 800 nm). ⺠Delay dependent decrease of area in all materials (Ti, Si, a-SiO2) in the ps range. ⺠Material dependent time constants related to underlying physical mechanisms.
