Abstract
⺠Buried optical waveguides fabrication by femtosecond laser inscription is presented. ⺠The 0.8CaSiO3-0.2Ca3(PO4)2 glass doped with Nd3+ ions has been used as substrate. ⺠The effects produced by the variation of the laser processing conditions were studied. ⺠Light confinement conditions were determined. ⺠The spectroscopic properties of the neodymium ions were evaluated.
