Abstract
- Superhydrophobic particulate films are fabricated with fractal structures.
- The fractal structure is constructed with epoxy resin microspheres and silica sol.
- Curing time of the suspension is the key to performance.
- Epoxy resin microspheres are obtained by phase separation with silica sol dispersant.
- The robustness of superhydrophobicity is estimated by impacting microdroplets.
