Abstract
- Corrosion of maraging steel in 2.0Â M H2SO4 solution was investigated.
- The inhibition of the steel corrosion after varied exposure periods was achieved.
- The corrosion rate of steel increases with increasing time before measurements.
- The presence of APTA and the increase of its content highly decreased the corrosion of steel.
- The corrosion of steel was precluded via the adsorption of APTA molecules onto the surface.
