Abstract
- Hierarchical hollow SiO2 microtubes (HHSM) are prepared using CTAB and bio-template poplar catkin (PC) as co-templates.
- Amine-modified HHSM samples present good formaldehyde adsorption capacity.
- The maximum formaldehyde adsorption capacity (20.65Â mg/g adsorbent) was obtained on the P0.3-50 sample.
- The maximum adsorption capacity is due to the synergistic effects of amine groups of TEPA and the high specific surface area of the sample.
