Abstract
- Alkaline phosphatase was immobilized on carboxymethyl chitosan coating on Ti.
- The coating is bifunctional; resists bacterial adhesion and enhances cell functions.
- Osteogenic differentiation of osteoblasts and stem cells is enhanced on the coating.
- The coating remains stable and functional after ethanol treatment and autoclaving.
