Abstract
⸠Crystalline, nanosize TiO2 particles were synthesized under reflux without calcination. ⸠Surface of nanoparticles were modified in situ with alkoxy groups of the solvent used. ⸠In situ surface-modified nanoparticles dispersed in both polar and non-polar media. ⸠Optically transparent TiO2 hydrosols were prepared. ⸠They have photocatalytically degraded Rhodamine B.
