Abstract
▸ A new solution for accurate prediction of surface free energy based on embedded atom method was proposed. ▸ The temperature dependent anisotropic surface energy of solid nickel was obtained. ▸ In isotropic environment, the approach does not change most predictions of bulk material properties.
