Abstract
▸ By a facile wet-chemistry route Co3O4/ZnO nanocomposites were successfully prepared. ▸ The ZnO is loaded on the surface of Co3O4 nanoparticles with compact hetero-interface. ▸ The obtained nanocomposites exhibit enhanced gas sensing properties with good stability and high sensing response. ▸ The excellent gas sensing properties and the easily scaled-up preparation route make the prepared nanocomposites promising for real application.
