Abstract
⸠Fabrication of stable superhydrophobic Sn surfaces by a displacement reaction. ⸠The highest water contact angle was 156° without any surface modification. ⸠The superhydrophobicity was related with the formation of Sn dendrites. ⸠The water droplet occurred in Cassie state on the surface of Sn dendrites. ⸠This procedure is facile, time-saving and cheap.
