Abstract
⺠A facile and highly efficient approach for surface modification of PET fiber was introduced. ⺠FTIR spectrum analysis proves that MDI is fixed on the PET surface. ⺠The chemical bonding at the interface between the fiber and matrix based on the reaction of NCO + HO-R â NH-COO-R. ⺠The PET fiber modified with NCO groups have a potential usage for composite fabrication.
