Abstract
⺠Surface working resulted in thinner oxide on the surface. ⺠Oxides on machined/ground surfaces richer in Cr, higher in specific resistivity. ⺠Additional ionic transport process at the metal-oxide for ground sample established. ⺠Presence of fragmented grains and martensite influenced oxide nature/morphology.
