Abstract
- A novel mesoporous Ag@AgBr/SBA-15 was synthesized by impregnation decomposition.
- Ag@AgBr/SBA-15 existed as agglomerates of rod-like crystallites.
- Ag@AgBr/SBA-15 was effective for the visible light photocatalytic degradation of RhB.
- The RhB removal was due to the combined effect of adsorption and photocatalysis.
- The catalyst can be easily regenerated and reused without Ag+ leaching.
