Abstract
⺠The FePt-MgO films preserving good perpendicular anisotropy have been prepared. ⺠The FePt grains distribute uniformly in MgO matrix and the grains size close to 5.4 nm. ⺠The relatively small α value 2.0 is obtained and magnetic domain size is about 99 nm. ⺠The microstructure and magnetic properties of FePt-MgO/Fe-MgO bilayers were studied.
