Abstract

âº An enzyme electrode was modified with polyhydroquinone (PHQ) by electrodeposition. âº The electrodeposited PHQ functioned as an electron-transferring mediator. âº The PHQ-modified enzyme electrode was used as an anode of a biofuel cell.
