Abstract
- A novel Hangjin clay (HJ) supported nanoscale zero-valent iron (HJ-nZVI) was reported.
- HJ-nZVI exhibited enhanced performance on nitrobenzene removal compared to nZVI alone.
- HJ-nZVI showed the best removal capacity among the three clay-supported nZVIs.
- Favorable physiochemical properties of HJ clay explained the performance of HJ-nZVI.
