Abstract
The reduced graphene oxide (RGO)-CoFe2O4 composite was synthesized by a facile route. The morphology, microstructure and microwave electromagnetic properties of the composite were detected by means of XRD, TEM, SEM, XPS TGA, VSM and vector network analyzer. The maximum reflection loss (RL) of the RGO-CoFe2O4 reaches â44.1Â dB at 15.6Â GHz with a thickness of 1.6Â mm, and the absorption bandwidth with the RL below â10Â dB is up to 4.7Â GHz (from 13.3 to 18.0Â GHz) with a thickness of only 1.5Â mm. The result demonstrates that the RGO plays a significant role in the microwave absorption proprieties of the RGO-CoFe2O4 composite. It is believed that such composite will be applied widely in microwave absorbing area.
