Abstract
- Anodization of near-equiatomicTi-Ni alloys with different Ni contents was examined in an ethylene glycol electrolyte containing ammonium fluoride and water.
- The morphology of oxide layers was not affected by the crystal structure of Ti-Ni alloy substrate, but by the chemical composition.
- The morphological transition of oxide layers from tubular to irregular-shaped porous structure proceeded with time on the Ti-Ni alloys.
