Abstract
⺠Sputtering coating with titanium dioxide (TiO2) functionalizes the surface of the electrospun poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA)/organically modified montmorillonite (O-MMT) composite microfibers. ⺠The deposition of anatase-TiO2 and rutile-TiO2 nanoparticles changes surface chemical and physical properties of the electrospun PMMA/O-MMT composite microfibers. ⺠TiO2 deposition enables the photocatalytic degradation of methylene blue.
