Abstract
► CuInxGa1−xSeyS2−y (CIGS) thin films were synthesized on glass substrates by a solution process. ► Morphologies of CIGS films were investigated with respect to the kinds of glass substrates. ► CIGS film on Mo-coated glass showed large grains with an undesired Mo oxide interfacial layer. ► CIGS film on FTO glass was porous and composed of relatively small grains. ► Higher power conversion efficiency was attained by the CIGS film grown on Mo-coated glass.
