Abstract
⺠Novel Mn/doped BiOCl catalyst with separate Mn sites was synthesized. ⺠Reduced crystallite size, larger the specific surface area, provides more exposed area to incident photons. ⺠The recombination of dissolved chloride ion to the BiOCl photocatalyst ensured BiOCl as a practical photocatalyst with long lifetime. ⺠Decrease in COD and increase in CO2 shows complete mineralization.
