Abstract
⺠Ni-nano β-SiC composite was produced by sediment electro-co-deposition technique. ⺠Production of nanocomposite was more difficult than microcomposite. ⺠SiC incorporation by SECD method was much higher than that by CECD method. ⺠Roughness of the nanocomposite is much lower. ⺠The hardness of nanocomposite was higher for a given vol.% of SiC in deposit. ⺠Scratch and wear resistance of the nanocomposite were higher than that of microcomposite.
