Abstract
- Pt-GaN Schottky interface was used to detect positively charged soot-particulate.
- Simple soot-particulate sensor was developed for sensing in harsh environments.
- Particulate matter 2.5 (PM2.5) was generated using a lab-scale miniaturized chimney.
- Schottky barrier height of â¼10Â meV was decreased upon exposure to soot particles.
- Microfabricated sensor demonstrated recovery of operation after regeneration at 550 °C.
