Abstract
- Hydrophilic Zr(OH)4·nH2O â hydro/superhydro/oleo-phobic nanostructured material.
- Fluoroalkyl functionalization changes surface energy and asperities of Zr(OH)4·nH2O.
- Only 3.6Â wt% fluoroalkyl-content is enough to get a good amphiphobic nanostructure.
- 18.7Â wt% fluoroalkyl-content leads to superhydrophobic and oleophobic behavior.
- Optimal distance between surface-protrusions supports the amphiphobic behavior.
