Abstract
By using the one-step copolymerization of styrene (St) and 1-vinyl-3-ethylimidazole bromide (VEIB), FPC poly(St-co-VEIB) microspheres composed of small poly(St-co-VEIB) nanospheres with the average diameter of 40 nm have been successfully prepared in the present of sodium dodecylsulfonate (SDS) in aqueous alcohol system, which is a very simple method of common free radical initiated emulsion polymerization.
