Abstract
A novel micron-sized magnetic adsorbent (MMA) for defluoridation of drinking water was prepared by spray drying and subsequent calcination of a Fe3O4@Fe-Ti core-shell nanoparticle slurry. The MMA had high adsorption capacity, rate and selectivity, and high removal efficiency in a wide pH range, and was easily separated from the water.
