Abstract
⺠Hydrogen peroxide treatment was applied to improve the surface wettability, moisture transfer properties and other related properties of wool fabric. ⺠The tip of wool scale was smoothened and parts of the scale were peeled off after hydrogen peroxide treatment. ⺠The water absorbing time could be decreased to less than 1 s and the wicking properties of wool fabrics were dramatically improved after hydrogen peroxide treatment. ⺠Fabric showed better shrinkproof property and whiteness level after treatment.
