Abstract
⺠Intense green emitting YTbxBO3 phosphor developed in optimized reaction conditions. ⺠Thermal degradation completely arrested by capping with silica nanoparticles. ⺠Shorter decay time (4 ms) achieved compared to commercially used green ZSM phosphor. ⺠Novelty of the work is in achieving high luminescence efficiency in the YBT system. ⺠Degradation resistant monochromatic green phosphor for PDP, Xe lighting developed.
