Abstract
⺠Role of laser irradiation wavelength on the surface modification of PEEK (polyether-ether-ketone) was investigated. ⺠Adequate processing conditions to improve wettability, roughness, and cell adhesion characteristics are determined. ⺠A design of experiments (DOE) methodology was performed. ⺠UV (355 nm) radiation is the most promising laser radiation for improving the adhesive surface properties of PEEK.
