Abstract
- The optimal metallic Ag content in stable Ag:AgBr/γ-Al2O3 photocatalyst was obtained.
- The catalysts can response through out the visible to near-infrared light range.
- The charge transfers between AgBr and Ag nanoparticles were determined.
- O2â was found to play a dominant role in the photo-catalytic oxidation of methyl orange and phenol in water rather than OH.
