Abstract
⺠In this study we examined the growth mechanism and crystalline structure of Co on Cu(1 1 0). ⺠Both experimental (DEPES) and theoretical (MS) approaches were used. ⺠We conclude that Co forms subsequent layers before the completion of the previous one. ⺠Co layers reflect the crystalline structure of the Cu(1 1 0) substrate.
