Abstract
⺠Polypropylene was coated with diamond-like carbon (DLC)/titanium dioxide (TiO2) multilayer thin films using the CVD and sputtering techniques for application of food container. ⺠The DLC film coated PP effectively prevented flavour retention to PP. ⺠The DLC/TiO2 film coated PP actively decomposed flavour compounds adsorbed to the film under UV radiation.
