Abstract
► Zr-based metallic glass composite coatings are prepared by gas tunnel plasma torch. ► Increasing plasma current increases crystallinity amount and hardness of coatings. ► Coating produced at 300 A plasma current gives minimum sliding wear rate. ► Coating produced at higher plasma current gives lower erosive wear rate.
