Abstract
▶ Polystyrene/silica nanoparticles were prepared by radical polymerization of silica nanoparticles possessing vinyl groups and styrene with benzoyl peroxide. ▶ The superhydrophobic surface was fabricated by combining of the organic and inorganic materials. ▶ A modified CB relation was used to confirm the superhydrophobicity of the resultant films.
