Abstract
► The CdSe/CdS/ZnS nanocrystals with good fluorescence properties were synthesized in aqueous solution by using l-cysteine as stabilizer. ► The multilayer films of chitosan-CdSe/CdS/ZnS with good quality were fabricated by layer-by-layer electrostatic self-assembly method. ► The ultrathin multilayer films of chitosan-CdSe/CdS/ZnS show good fluorescence property.
