Abstract
⺠Fabricating biomimetic units to form wear resistant surfaces by laser cladding. ⺠Investigating four different cladding ceramics on friction and wear of biomimetic specimens. ⺠Reinforced microstructure of biomimetic unit is the main contribution to wear resistance. ⺠Cladding TiC is the best in anti-wear while cladding B4C is the highest in friction coefficient.
