Abstract
⿢We explored sorption interactions between ATP biomolecules and biomimetic apatite.⿢Larger adsorbed amounts were reached for ATP as compared to AMP for any given concentration tested.⿢Sips isotherm with m < 1 suggested an adsorption process mostly guided by direct surface bonding.⿢Effective οGads values down to ⿿33 kJ/mol reflect the spontaneous character of ATP adsorption.⿢FTIR and Raman spectral modifications upon adsorption confirmed chemical-like interactions.
