Abstract
► We study the wetting properties of as received and aged gas diffusion layers. ► We use the Wilhelmy plate method with water at various temperature from 5 to 60 °C. ► We discuss our results in the frame of the Wenzel and Cassie-Baxter wetting regimes. ► We analyse how water temperature and ageing alter the wetting of gas diffusion layers.
